Pay scale and allowances details:-
for technical assistant (area library) salary in Rs.9300/- to Rs.34800/- p/m plus grade pay of Rs.4200/- p/m total emoluments Approximately Rs.33879/- p/m,
for technician (area computer science) salary is in Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- p/m grade pay of Rs.1900/- p/m total emoluments Approximately Rs.19583/- p/m,
for technician (area chemical science) salary is in Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- p/m grade pay of Rs.1900/- p/m total emoluments Approximately Rs.19583/- p/m.
all posts carry usual allowance i.e da, hra, and transport allowances etc, as admissible to the central government employees posted in Dehradun, In addition to the emoluments, benefits such as the New Pension Scheme (NPS), Leave Travel Concession, Reimbursement of medical expenses for self and dependents, Conveyance Advance, House Building advance etc, are available as per government rules, as applicable to the employees of CSIR,
Age limit:-Upper age limit for the post is below 28 years and age relaxation is given as 10 years (15 years for sc, st, & 13 years for obc,) The persons claiming age relaxation under pwd category would be required to produce a certificate in prescribed proforma in support of their claims clearly indicating that the degree of phycial disability is 40% or more.
Relaxation in age limit up to 5 years may be allowed to council/ government / Autonomous bodies/ Public Sector Undertaking employees in accordance with the instructions and orders issued by the government of India from time to time in this regard,
As per GOI provisions age relaxation for widows, Divorced women and women Judicially separated from Husbands who are not remarried, the upper age limit is relaxable up to the age of 35 years (upto 40 years for members of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled tribes and upto 38 years for members of belonging to the other backwards classes in respect of the posts reserved for them. The persons claiming age relaxation would be required to produce following documentary evidence,
death certificate and affidavit of nor remarried and in case of divorced women and women judicially separated a certificate copy of judgement or decree of the appropriate court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial separation,

Desirable:-(i) Candidates should have 1-2 years experience of working in a chemical laboratory
(ii) Candidtes should have the knowledge of performing laboratory experiments, working with high pressure reactors and good technical hand (iii) Candidate should have the sufficient knowledge of materials, catalysis and organic chemistry,
