Pay scale and other allowances;-
Salary for these post is in Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- p/m plus Gd pay of Rs.5400/- p/m and as usual allowances as per government rules,
Age limit:-Applicants age is not exceeding 35 years Age relaxation to government servant candidates and obc candidates (only for the post reserved for obc) in accordance with the instructions issued by departmental of personnel and training from time to time in this regard,
one time relaxation is allowed to scientific and technical staff working in long term projects in ICMR institute,
private practice is not allowed by the scientist joining in this institutes they are given special allowances,
pension benefit is system is also allowed the candidates,
Educational qualification:-
for Scientist-B (Medical) unreserved a degree of medicine (MBBS) from recognized University or institute approved by MCI,
for Scientist-B (Non Medical) unreserved a first M.Sc degree in Zoology/Medical Entomology/Public Health Entomology/from a recognized university/institute or
2nd class M.Sc degree in Zoology/Medical Entomology/Public Entomology plus PhD in relevant subjects from recognized university/institute,
Doctorate in Zoology/Public Health Entomology/Medical entomology from a recognized university
Additional post doctoral research/Teaching experience in subjects related to vector borne diseases and their control in recognized Institutes,
Knowledge of computer applications or bio statistics data management,
for Scientist-B (Non Medical) (Reserved for OBC) (Anticipated vacancy) first class Master degree in (M.Sc) in Microbiology from a recognized university, 2nd class Master degree (M.Sc) in Microbiology plus PhD in the relevant subjects from recognized University,
Doctorate in Microbiology from a recognized university,
Additional post doctoral research/Teaching experience in subjects related to vector borne diseases and their control in recognized Institutes,
Knowledge of computer applications or bio statistics data management,
Selection procedure;-Candidates are selected on the basis of written test and interview and shorted candidates in the interview are selected,
